Michael Powell
Michael Powell
Mike Powell left the Town of Champion in 2001 and went on to Syracuse University where, in four years, he became the most decorated college lacrosse player in the history of the sport.

After college, despite being the number one draft pick in both professional lacrosse leagues, Mike declined the offers to play professionally and instead packed up his guitar and hit the road to play music in coffee shops and folk houses all over the American west. He is an open-chested free spirit and an absolute prolific writer with over 200 songs already in his arsenal.

His words are honest and his performances are captivating, intimate, and interactive. His powerful silky voice is oozing with blue eyed soul. He somehow blends folk with soul and country to create a sound that is as unique as his personality.
Castle Creek
Castle Creek
Born in the heart of central New York, alternative blues rock duo Castle Creek has hooked audiences from Portland, Maine to Austin, Texas. Comprised of award-winning lead vocalist Kim Monroe and Berklee trained lead guitarist Chris Eves, Castle Creek skillfully shares lyrics and instrumentals in a manner that resonates with crowds big and small.

With hard-hitting vocals and searing blues riffs, Castle Creek furthers the form established by the Tedeschi Trucks Band and the Black Crowes.

Between the two of them, Kim and Chris can claim multiple EPs, studio albums, Syracuse Area Music Awards, session work, film appearances, and tours with national acts such as Justincase and American Idol.

Having toured successfully with their most recent 3-song EP, Castle Creek's debut studio album, "The Only Life", is slated for release November 2014.
Joe Altier
Joe Altier
Born and raised in Syracuse, Joe learned to play piano and started singing around the age of five. Taught to play and read music by his mother, Joe started taking formal piano lessons at the age of nine. RONNIE VAN ZANDT, OTIS REDDING, PHIL ANSELMO and ZAKK WYLDE are among his favorite singers. Discriminating against no style of music, classical, country, rock and heavy metal shaped who he would become. JUST JOE.

College educated with degrees in History and Audio Engineering, and a minor in Secondary Education. But from that early age, he felt that music was his true calling. In September, 2001 he became the singer for BRAND NEW SIN. They released three albums and one EP with worldwide distribution and they toured extensively across North America, Great Britain and Ireland as both headliners and support. They toured with some of the most recognizable names in heavy metal, including MOTORHEAD, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, TYPE O NEGATIVE and SHADOWS FALL. Their rock n' roll music was featured in the movie "School of Rock" and on the MTV television shows "Homewreckers" and "Viva La Bam." It was JUST JOE and then some.

An inside linebacker in college, Joe helped get their message cross over to the sporting world. BNS songs were featured on UFC and ESPN, and even the Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment giant, THE BIG SHOW tapped Joe's soaring vocals with his bandmates for Show's entrance song, "Crank It Up." From college learning to worldwide touring to crossover media. It was JUST JOE.

During downtimes with BNS, Joe took up his piano and played clubs under the moniker BRAND NEW JOE. When he split from BNS, Joe developed a repertoire of more than 3000+ cover songs, ranging from FRANK SINATRA to METALLICA and everything imaginable in-between and since 2008 has played close to 1500 shows all over Upstate NY as JUST JOE.

In 2009, he hooked up with former BNS guitarist BRIAN "SLIDER" AZZOTO and formed ELEPHANT MOUNTAIN. After plenty of writing and rehearsing, and after a few shows to debut the material, the band went into the studio and have completed the recording of the debut album, “The Last Days Of Planet Earth”, which was released in September of 2011. This album was then followed up with the release of, “Birth Of A Conspriacy” in December of 2013. That aforementioned album won a SAMMY (Syracuse Area Music Award) for BEST ROCK ALBUM in 2014. Elephant Mountain plays sporadically around Upstate NY.

And not to be outdone Joe has released four cd’s of original material, “JUST JOE SOLO EP” (December 2011), “My Demons, My Burden, My Life” (May of 2012), “Got Joe?” (December 2012) and “So The Story Goes…” (June 2013). All of these albums were nominated for SAMMY (Syracuse Area Music Award) in the respective years. Joe has also been releasing singles every month since late 2013 culminating in his first COVERS CD, “Just Joe – The Singles (2014)” which also featured his only original release of 2014 a song titled, "Seven Years (Melanie)".

Joe recently released his first live album, "Live At The Lost Horizon" on May 1, 2015. It was recorded at Syracuse's legendary, LOST HORIZON, and features Joe doing a CAREER SPANNING set of songs from Brand New Sin, Elephant Mountain, Just Joe and a few classic covers.
